PSG striker Peguy Luyindula admits that he is in limbo after being totally frozen out of the picture at the Parc des Princes.
The 32-year-old has been been forced to train with the reserves and is seemingly no longer required at the club by Coach Antoine Kombouare.
“His current situation is a direct consequence of pure sporting choices.”
“I have worked with him for two years and, on a sporting level, I think we have gone as far as we can.”
A stern yet clear message from the Coach as Luyindula approaches the end of his contract.
The striker has also tried to contact Leonardo to which he has received no reply:
He told Le Parisien about his situation:
“I am trying to understand why I have been sent away, but I can’t.”
“When I ask, I am told that it is the choice of the manager. I am being treated like a leper. I don’t dare go to Parc des Princes to watch my team-mates because I don’t know if I would be welcomed or sent packing. The coach met me earlier in the season and said he doesn’t want me anymore. Since I have been overlooked I don’t have a relationship with the professional group and I have no relationship with the coach.
“I have tried to contact Leonardo, but he has not replied to me.”
With the club now budding for a prosperous future with the new investment in full flow, it is inevitable Peggy does not figure in any such plan.
