Following their scintillating performances against Montpellier last weekend, both Blaise Matuidi and Javier Pastore have been named in the Ligue 1, Best XI for Week 8 by sports daily L’Equipe.
Both players were pivotal in the 3-0 victory that ended a 12-year winless streak at the Stade de la Mosson.
Matuidi shone in the centre of midfield by quelling his opposition and Argentine Pastore netted a brace, with his first being an early contender for goal of the season.
Both were marked 8/10.
