“The sign of great players is their ability to bounce back immediately after a setback. They did that brilliantly tonight with a big team performance after the Bilbao match. It’s a really great win. Well done to the players. It’s their hard work that means today, we’ve got a team that’s winning and improving going forward. Now we can’t get carried away. It’s only Week 9 and we need to keep our feet on the ground. We proved this evening that with two days less to prepare for the match, we’re still capable of dominating Lyon physically.”
“It was a very important match for us, especially after the loss to Athletic Bilbao. We needed to win and play well at the Parc des Princes. We need to stay focused because we’ve got more tough games coming up.”
“I’m really happy to have played in this summit clash of the French game. I’m delighted to have scored and the whole team played really well. For the goal, I decided to go it alone and it paid off. I feel right at home at PSG. The atmosphere within the squad is excellent and helps me play my best football.”
