PSG winger Nene has admitted that he is considering representing France if the opportunity occurred.
Although born in Brazil and having played for their U23’s, he has yet been selected for their senior squad.
The 30-year-old says it is his ambition to play for his homeland in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, in Brazil, and will strive to do so over the coming years.
“I will give everything for Brazil to try to play the 2014 World Cup that will take place in my country .” he told RMC.
He had hoped to be selected for the game between France and Brazil at the Stade de France back in February but was untimely left disappointed.
Eager to be involved in international football, he is more than open to the idea of representing Les Bleus:
“But if I see I can’t make it with Brazil, I will think about the French national team. It should not be a problem. I have dual nationality and I hope I will soon have triple nationality.”
