Conflicting Reports Regarding David Beckham

Le Parisien reported this morning that David Beckham could finalise his move to the club within the next month. However, according to the Press Association any talk of a deal being in place is premature, despite the club being in discussions with the former England skipper.

Always bound to get speculation pulling and tugging from one side to another but one thing is for certain, Beckham is intrigued by a possible move to the French capital. He has been looking at properties in the city and has publically admitted to being ‘flattered’ by the club’s interest.

Leonardo Meets Partners

Director of football Leonardo sat down for breakfast and an informal chat with numerous partners of Paris Saint-Germain this morning.

Many were taken back as to how well mannered and likeable the Brazilian was as he answered a variety of questions regarding the club.

Jean-Marc Barreaud, head of the partnership with Nike (the club’s kit manufacturer) said the meeting was a huge success.

He told PSG’s Official Site:

“I liked him (Leonardo) as a player, and I especially appreciate the natural charisma that emerges. As we explained during the meeting, he is someone who attaches great importance to detail as well as sporting the management level. This is a real plus for PSG – and it’s reassuring to have someone like him at PSG. ”

PSG & Milan Track Eric Abidal

This was a story 1970 PSG brought to you some weeks back via France Football, who claimed PSG had been monitoring Barcelona left-back Eric Abidal.

The Frenchman has yet to pen a contract extension in Catalonia, leading to speculation regarding his future. Ideally for Abidal, he will sign a new two-year deal and potentially end his career in Spain.

However, according to L’Equipe he does have alternative options with the Parisians being potential suitors along with Italian giants AC Milan. At 32 years of age, one last big move may be of interest to him.
