Jeremy Menez has apologised for showing his distain at being substituted by Coach Antoine Kombouare during the 4-2 win over Caen at the weekend.
The Frenchman had put the Parisians into a 2-1 lead at one point and was far from happy at being replaced by Jean-Christophe Bahebeck in the 73rd minute.
As reported by L’Equipe, Menez said:
“I like being on the pitch. But I know that we must respect the choices of the coach, he must consider the run of matches and spare playing time for each other. I would like to apologise to him because it is not right to leave the pitch with that attitude.”
