Udinese centre-back Mehdi Benatia has publicly stated his interest in a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Parisian born Moroccan international has been heavily linked with a move back to his home city, with reports in Italy suggesting a deal may be in the pipeline for January.
Although Benatia thinks a transfer during this season is unlikely, he has hinted at a possible return to France next summer and reunite with his family.
As reported by SKY Sports News, he said:
“Paris Saintt Germain are an interesting option. I said as much in August. I spoke to the Udinese president (Franco Soldati) about it at that time, but he didn’t want to sell me.”
“I’m from Paris, my family live there and there is an important project being developed at PSG. We could talk about it again at the end of the season.”
