Javier Pastore took the time to unwind yesterday at Disneyland Paris, although he faced questioning from reporters about his recent form.
The Argentine has had his recent outings for PSG questioned by the media after a stunning month in September where he netted five goals and provided two assists. However, his form has not been the same since the last international break, leading to some negative criticism.
El Flaco says that the critics do not bother him but did admit at not being used to a congested fixture list such as the one he is currently enduring with the Parisians.
As reported by France Football, JP said:
“The critics do not affect me. It’s part of the game. When I play well, you speak well of me and when I play bad, it’s the opposite. You have to know when to step back and not pay attention to it.”
“The truth is that with my previous clubs, I was not used to playing every three days.”
He went on to reveal that he is now finding stability in his life by purchasing a house with his girlfriend, after both living in a hotel upon their arrival from Sicily back in the summer. Something which will help rehabilitate his on-field exploits:
“I’ve lived just a little over two months at a hotel. It’s tiring. But we have finally found a house…”
