As reported by the Daily Mail, Leonardo has told French sports daily L’Equipe that the door is open for Samuel Eto’o to join Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.
The Cameroon international is currently playing his trade with Anzhi Makhachkala who made him the world’s highest paid player after completing a move from Internazionale back in the summer. However, with the Russian season drawing to a close until next spring, Eto’o is seemingly open to the idea of gaining some playing time elsewhere on loan.
This has intrigued Leonardo, who has hinted at the possibility.
“Samuel Eto’o has stated that he won’t close the door to PSG and we won’t close the door either.” Leo stated.
“Could he come to PSG? Why not? We don’t know.”
