Whilst smiling for the cameras during his photoshoot with Le Parisien yesterday, Javier Pastore spoke briefly on the upcoming game against Marseille and his current form.
PSG make the trip to the Stade Velodrome this coming Sunday, hoping to bounce back from the disappointing defeat to lowly Nancy last weekend.
Despite the difficulty of the task, Pastore is relishing the prospect:
“I love these kind of games. It is in the kind of atmosphere that gets the best out of me.”
“I have experience of these meetings, just like those I played against River Plate in Argentina or against Juventus or AC Milan in Italy.”
“Playing against OM straight after the defeat to Nancy is the best thing that could happen. Victory is essential and the team will have to give the best account of itself.”
El Flaco also spoke on his recent dip in form, which has not been anywhere near his usual standard. All he had to say on that matter was; “Right now, I’m not good physically or mentally”.
