With all the uncertainty surrounding the future of Antoine Kombouare it appears that his tenure at Paris Saint-Germain has runs its course with owners QSI looking to implement a man of their own to lead the club into the New Year. According to Le Parisien, that man is Carlo Ancelotti.
They are running an exclusive this Friday morning that the 52-year-old has agreed to take charge of the capital club and will commence his duties sometime next week, just before the squad jets off to Qatar for winter training.
He has been continuously linked with the club ever since he met with director of football Leonardo and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Paris at the beginning of November. There they discussed the possibility of the Italian taking over from Kombouare and laid the groundwork for those plans.
Now it seems he is the man that QSI want to take the club forward and will present him with a two and a half year contract.
