Coach Carlo Ancelotti emphasised the importance of tomorrow’s clash with Montpellier during today’s pre-match press conference.
The Italian is anticipating an exciting evening as Les Parisiens look to open up a four point gap at the top of the table.
As reported by the club’s Official Site, Carlo said; “This match is very important, but it will not decide the eventual champions. After the meeting, there will still be fourteen matches left…We face the second placed team in championship and we are happy to play this game because there will be a great atmosphere at the Parc, which will be full, and a new pitch. I think it will be a fantastic evening. “
Ancelotti realises that Rene Girard’s men are arriving with confidence flowing through their veins but also emphasised that the same is apparent with his players at Camp des Loges; “Montpellier are a good team with good organisation, and are playing with confidence right now, but with our confidence and courage, we can win the match.”
When asked if he feels any added pressure with such an important game, the 52-year-old showed his humility by expressing his pleasure to just simply be involved; “I am pleased to be the protagonist of such an important game, and so should the players. It’s been so long since PSG have played this kind of game, so we must remain happy and tranquil.”
The game kicks-off at 20:00 (GMT). Why not check out the match preview up on site.
