For the past few weeks, Milan’s star central defender Thiago Silva has been linked with move to Paris Saint-Germain. In fact the Rossoneri may very well have received a concrete bid according to famous FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti.
He spoke on Italian radio (as reported by France Football) claiming the Italian giants had rejected a €40m offer. Although he did not specify the identity of the club, it is widely regarded to be PSG as Corriere dello Sport has speculated.
It is no secret coach Carlo Ancelotti is a big admirer of the player and Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani confessed to being queried by his friend over the possibility of a deal being struck. However, Galliani admitted that any forthcoming offers would be resisted and he looks to have stuck to his word.
Meanwhile director of football Leonardo has admitted to AFP that a deal to sign Napoli’s Ezequiel Lavezzi is “looking good”.
