Sao Paulo’s Lucas Moura has given the biggest indication yet that he is about to sign for Paris Saint-Germain – more or less confirming he is on his way.
Following Brazil’s Olympic semi-final triumph over South Korea, the 19-year-old spoke to Sao Paulo based newspaper Folha. When asked about a possible move to the French capital he said; “The good thing is that I get to the end the year with Sao Paulo (signing in January). The deal is well underway.”
This comes on the back of Internazionale president Massimo Moratti revealing that PSG outbid his club for the player as well as Sao Paulo themselves confirming that there has been contacting regarding a deal.
What is evidently working in Les Parisiens favour is their proposal of a straight cash offer. It also works for the player as he will not have to move until the Brazilian season concludes.
Even after Carlo Ancelotti stated that no more business was on the horizon, the club are about to land one of the brightest prospects in world football.
