Well if we thought Thiago Motta’s agent was bluffing we were wrong! According to Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian born Azzurri international has requested to ‘leave’ Paris Saint-Germain as soon as possible.
This has all come to ahead it seems. The player’s agent Alessandro Canovi lambasted Parisian daily Le Parisien after they published an article criticising the player’s performances this season. He then indicated that his client should perhaps seek a move if he is not appreciated by the football club.
Well, this has intensified further. Motta, who feels that he is underpaid in comparison to other players at PSG, wants to move on – most likely back to Italy. Gazzetta say – backed up by Calcio Mercato – that AC Milan are keen but also Manchester United and even Real Madrid are interested (coached by former PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti).
TM penned a new contract until the summer of 2016 last February. As I said a couple of days ago, this may be a ploy to get a new contract but the club will not be held to ransom; especially after the debacle involving Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edisnon Cavani where the club have made an example of them.
