Adrien Rabiot has his heart set on a loan-move to Tottenham Hotspur this month according to this morning’s edition of Le Parisien.
For the past week the move has been mooted and the interest from Spurs has always been concrete. Although coach Laurent Blanc indicated in his presser last week just before the Montpellier game that he wanted to keep Rabiot, he did admit that the situation is ‘complicated’. The 19-year-old played the entirety in the 3-0 win last Monday and it looked as if the brakes had been halted somewhat on a potential move. Now it seems that the player wants to make to the switch to White Hart Lane which will be for six-months with no option to buy.
One thing is for certain, Rabiot sees his future in Paris. The extension of his contract at the back end of last year proves that despite the flirtation of a move to Roma last summer. But, according to the Parisian daily he sees a move to Spurs as a great opportunity for his development.
The Premier League side were that eager to thrash out a deal, they wanted him in the squad for tomorrow’s game against Crystal Palace.
It looks almost certain now that he will be making the move England. It just requires the nod of the head from Monsieur Blanc and Al-Khelaifi
