Kevin Trapp may have been a Paris Saint-Germain player for a fair few days now but was officially unveiled to in Paris.
The German stopper showed a real good grasp of French in his presser where he came across as a very ambitious young man looking to achieve greats things with Les Parisiens.
“I’m very happy to be here in Paris. Paris is a big club. I can’t wait to play at the Parc des Princes and get to know the club’s supporters. I will try to learn French as quickly as possible.”
“Signing here was a great opportunity for me. There’s everything here for me to keep growing. I will do everything I can to reach my objectives.”
“I’m not overawed. I have always wanted to play alongside great players and win trophies. Signing for Paris was the right move because it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. Even if Frankfurt isn’t as famous as Paris Saint-Germain, my job as goalkeeper does not change.”
“Everything went very quickly. I joined up with the players in Austria and received a very good welcome. I try and talk to them in French. I really enjoyed training with the other ‘keepers. It was a perfect week for me.”
“I have no guarantees. I have to do my best to win my place in the team. It’s the coach that will make the final decision. I know Salvatore Sirigu, he is a great goalkeeper and an Italian international. He has won a lot of titles with Paris.”
