According to L’Equipe this morning, Tottenham Hotspur have rejected an opening €7m bid from Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Benjamin Stambouli.
Spurs are holding out for a higher fee, with recently promoted Watford also in the race to sign the former Montpellier man.
It is a matter of ‘when’ and not ‘if’ this deal gets concluded. The player is keen on a move to the French capital where he will sign a long-term contract. It up to Les Parisiens now to lodge another bid which will be forthcoming.
