  1. Dear Ross,

just discovered your blog… and I like it. Coming from a PSG fan (first match at Le Parc in 1982) who enjoyed so much the great moments of our club, but also endured almost 15 years of more lows than ups…
A nagging question: how come a young England-based writer, and also a fan of Aston Villa FC (as far as I understand), fell in love with PSG? Any particular event at the origin of this? Or just the promising new era putting back the club on the map of Europe (hum, and even on the map of France)?

Bonne chance to your blog which I’ll follow from now.

    • Hello Clement,

Good question, one I get asked quite a lot. It is simply due to one man, Ronaldinho. When I was watching the World Cup in 2002 – I was about 11 at the time – I hadn’t heard of him, but soon became enthralled by his skill and flamboyance. From then on in I watched him as much as I could and as he was at PSG at the time, I caught all the games on Eurosport. Then I became attached to the club more so with each game I watched and it all stems from that really. As I got older It just dawned on me to set something up that was unique, an English speaking website on PSG in 2011. With interest growing in the club following the QSI takeover I felt it was a great idea.

Thank-you for following the blog, really much appreciated.
      Ross 🙂
